Building the Future
Purpose
The Building the Future pledge drive is intended to raise money to meet the physical needs of the campus. Money collected from the pledge drive is deposited into a reserve account for the purpose of improving campus buildings and infrastructure, classrooms, and outdoor spaces. These funds remain seperate from regular maintenance and operating expenses and are used to accomplish our goals as outlined in our Campus Renewal Project
Process
Each year at freshman registration, a presentation is made to income families about the Building the Future pledge drive. A four-year pledge of $1000.00 is solicited as a basic pledge, with the objective of encouraging a target pledge of $4000.00 per family. The pledge will be paid over the four years of a student's attendance. Each family will fill out a pledge card with their pledge intention. Families will then make monthly installments at the beginning of the school year, or may elect to pay the full year's pledge in advance.

You may mail the card in with your initial contribution, or send the card and make a payment when you receive your pledge reminder statement. The primary goal of the Building the Future pledge drive is to foster a long-term commitment from the Notre Dame community to a vision of a forward-moving institution. As a result of this commitment, the secondary goal is to raise money for improvements to the campus facilities, bringing them in par with the outstanding quality of ministry and education for which Notre Dame is renown. Our financial objective is to obtain pledges of $500,000.00 during the 2006/2007 school year and to collect $125,000.00 before the beginning of the 2007/2008 school year. Over the next five years, we hope to increase the level of pledging and collect $1,250,000.00 by 2010/2011 school year to be used for our Campus Renwal Project.
